When she was 18, Farrah decided to change her health dramatically. With an extensive background in athletics, she began training for a half marathon, and decided to alter her diet and lifestyle to see if recovery would improve. Not only did her recovery improve, but she healed a life-long digestive condition she previously thought incurable. This began her pivot to integrative medicine, and she graduated with a Certificate of Holistic Nutrition from Pacific Rim College in 2014.
Farrah’s life was again transformed when she experienced a pedestrian accident in 2022. In a year-long recovery from serious injuries and temporary disability, she cites Acupuncture as a key component to healing. Farrah’s compassion for pain, grief, trauma, and the loss of the former self that comes with illness and injury, grew much during this time.
Having witnessed and personally experienced the potential for healing that integrative medicine offers, Farrah graduated with Dual Diploma's of Acupuncture and Holistic Nutrition from Pacific Rim College in 2023.
Farrah works as an Acupuncturist and Holistic Nutritionist, offering Private, Community-style, and Virtual consultations at Brentwood Bay Community Wellness. She also works as a personal chef, and operates a seasonal gardening company. She cites the body and the land as her most influential teachers.
Farrah is currently studying with Dr. Michael Smith in 300 Hour Qi Gong Teacher Training, and completing the Mineral Mastery Certificate with Rick Fischer.
