Did you know that providing emotional support to the Elderly is significant for their mental health, it reduces loneliness, anxiety, helps with cognitive function, provides comfort, a sense of belonging and brightens spirits. I will work one one to get to know your loved ones personality, likes and dislikes so that I can work with, and relate to them on a level they are comfortable with. Whether it be, doing crafts, listening to music, planting, going for a walk, or just quietly chatting, I do my best to provide what is needed on an individual basis. Caring for, comforting and supporting the Elderly is something I've done on and off for a number of years. End of life comfort is something very meaningful to me, it is a privilege to be able to offer comfort and support to an individual during this transition. I offer one to one emotional, spiritual and physical support. I help to create a feeling of peace and safety in their space by keeping lights dim, their mouth and lips moistened, providing warm blankets or keeping them cool, gentle massage on hands, feet & legs, and Reiki, if requested. I am pleased to offer the following services to seniors in the comfort of their home, hospital, or long-term care facility within the Bridgewater area,
Comfort & Companionship Respite ~ Palliative ~ Dementia Medication Reminders ~ Meal Preparation ~ Light Household Chores Encouraging Exercise, Hobbies & Activities at a rate of $25/hr (2hrs min-10hrs).
I also provide the following uplifting services to seniors: Hand/foot soaks & massage, Indian Head massage, nail care such as filing (no cutting), cleaning & painting (if desired) at a rate of $35 (1 ½ hr).
