Due to impending weather and the first "Orange" level warning we have seen, I am making the decision to close for the day as most appointments are scheduled for the worst part of todays weather!

Those who were booked today will have received an email of either a new appointment date, or a link to reschedule so please be on the look out for those!

They are calling this "heart attack" snow, so please every exercise caution when out there shovelling!

❄️Well we managed to go a full week without weather interruptions to the schedule!

Tomorrows forecast is not looking great to say the least…for those of you still on the schedule, official call will be made in the morning, so please check your emails as that is how the system sends out cancelations.

If its anything like whats predicted, we will be closed.

I am going to attempt to keep appointments open today (as of now) for those who can (and would like to) get here safety.

It seems this is the new trend for this winters snow storms.

Sorry to say that due to road conditions and waiting on snow removal, we will be closed again today.

Power outages continue, and like many of you at home, there is also no power still at the clinic. It’s just too cold to operate without any heat 🥶

That's a wrap for our 2025 Season!

The clinic will be closed from Dec 23 to Jan 4, returning on Jan 5 for regular hours.

This year resulted in some big and unexpected changes but we are looking forward to new beginnings in 2026!

Happy Halloween 🎃

We hope everyone has a safe and happy time trick or treating tonight! Please remember to take extra caution when out and about due to weather as visibility on the roads may be compromised!

There are also several great events happening indoors around town tonight to get kids in out of the rain, so be sure to check them out!

Well, that’s a wrap for us at 224 Dufferin Street.

Today was our last day to treat patients and tomorrow we will move the last of the stuff out.

It’s definitely bittersweet.

Thank you to everyone who has walked through these doors and trusted me with their care over these last 7 years.

There will be a short closure while we relocate, but stay tuned for updates on that!

Monday is here and this will be our last week of operating out of the 224 Dufferin Street location.

Lots of big feels over this, particularly since this will also be Dryfts last week working as clinic dog.

Dryft has been alongside of me at work since the ripe age of 8 weeks old. Most days you don’t see him as he quietly and politely naps on his bed in the kitchen, but he’s there and his presence has always been reassuring to me.

Many of you have gotten to know him if you’ve been in the clinic at the beginning or end of appointment hours as he typically greets the first first in the door and the last person out, or he’s often seen sitting in the front window while I’m finishing up some paperwork for the day.

Leaving this location behind will be hard, but leaving this boy home might be harder!
