Meet one of our amazing caregivers who has been part of the Earth Angels family since September 2024 💙 After nearly 18 years in office roles, she took a leap into caregiving—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions she’s ever made. This role has brought her a renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment, and it truly shows in the care she provides.
When she’s not supporting clients, you’ll find her getting creative in the kitchen cooking and baking, or slowing things down with knitting and crocheting 🧶 She loves unwinding with movies and music, but her favourite moments are spent making memories with her daughter.

With a Nor’easter forecasted, we want our clients, families, and community to know: we’re prepared.

Our caregivers go to extraordinary lengths to show up, even in inclement weather. Long before the storm arrives, our office team is preparing and continues coordinating day and night to support the safety of our clients and caregivers.

A few simple steps can help you stay safe:
• Keep essentials nearby (water, snacks, phone, flashlight)
• Charge phones and devices ahead of the storm
• Avoid unnecessary outings while conditions are poor

Looking out for one another is what community care is all about.

🌟 A special shoutout to one of our caregivers, Victorine!

Victorine was recognized by our Berwick team for going above and beyond to provide care for her client.

Last month, she was unable to drive all the way to her client's home due to the snow, so she parked her car and walked the rest of the way!

The Pictou County Women's Resource and Sexual Assault Centre has developed a program called Secure. It is a lunch and learn, financial literacy program. Next session starts soon!

Just a reminder that Secure - A Financial Literacy Group for Senior Woman will begin on January 22nd 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

This group is free of charge and lunch will be provided.
