Salute! We raised a glass to good company and the Winter Olympic Games with a favorite Italian pre-dinner tradition for our Italian Aperitivo Social Series event.

We indulged in antipasto, herbed focaccia, cannoli, Italian spritzes and coffee while celebrating our favorite winter sports. We enjoyed the music from Corby and a great presentation from Carlisle on what it's like to be an athlete.

Yo, Adrian!

Inspired by the City of Brotherly Love, our Taste Philadelphia event featured local favorites like pretzel bites with mustard, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, fries, onion rings and tomato cucumber salad. And to top it all off, we enjoyed a Philadelphia fluff cake and a screening of a cinematic classic, Rocky!

This year, our Taste events are taking us on a tour of the U.S. and Canada. We can't wait to see – and taste – the cuisine from our destination next month!

Buddies. Pals. Besties. Whatever you call it, the connection between friends is irreplaceable.

Val and Judy have been friends since 1972! That is 54 years of friendship! They were neighbors in Ajax just four houses from each other. Their children Johnny and Jeff were fast friends and so they became close too. You can see them visiting every week at our place just chatting and laughing away.

These bonds enrich our lives and fill our hearts.

Last night we were thrilled to have these young dancers perform for our Residents. Even the teacher, Dana, showed us her new skills as a violin player. Thank your to Sharon, Ian and Don for introducing us to this wonderful group of performers. The teachers are their daughters!

We got a sweet start to the year at our Cake Café Social Series!

Celebrating the opulence of Versailles, we raised a fork in cheers to our favorite flavors and enjoyed a cake tasting.

Thank you to the Chef for our mouth watering cupcake demonstration!

And the biggest treat? Spending time with all our friends. 🍰
