🎉 41 Years Strong! 🎉

On March 15, 1985, we officially became an incorporated society.

What does that mean? It means we became a recognized, registered non-profit organization — with a clear mission, a governing board, and the legal ability to serve our community in a structured, accountable way. It was the moment we moved from an idea and a passion… to an established organization built to last.

For 41 years, we’ve been committed to supporting families, strengthening our community, and walking alongside those who need it most. That’s something worth celebrating.

Help us mark this milestone — drop an applause emoji 👏 in the comments and celebrate 41 years strong with us!

Our Women’s Integrity Group wrapped up on Thursday, and we are so grateful for the incredible women who showed up with courage, honesty, and a willingness to grow. Over the past weeks, this group created a space where stories were shared, burdens were lightened, and hope was rediscovered.

One participant shared something that perfectly captures the heart of this group:

“I have learned that I am not alone in my struggles; nothing is new but there is hope and healing available.”

That is exactly why spaces like this matter. When women come together in honesty and support, isolation breaks and healing begins.

Thank you to every woman who trusted the process, shared pieces of her story, and supported others along the way. Your bravery and commitment made this group truly special.

Healing is possible, and no one has to walk the journey alone. 💛

Stay tuned for what's next and please reach out if you are looking for hope and healing in this area.

This year, Lent and Ramadan overlap, a rare alignment that happens roughly once every 33 years.

Though rooted in different faith traditions, both emphasize reflection, generosity, discipline, and compassion. At the same time, many families are also celebrating Lunar (or Chinese) New Year, a season of renewal and hope.

Moments like this remind us that we often have more similarities than differences. Recognizing and appreciating the traditions of others does not diminish our own, but instead it strengthens the fabric of our shared community!

This is what the Canadian mosaic looks like: Different stories. Shared values. One community ❤️
