What you bring your attention to is magnified.
Focus on darkness, magnify darkness (or uncertainty or lack or doubt, etc.).
Fear, doubt, criticism, condemnation become the very bushels we use to hide our light.
How to let your light shine? When you’re struggling with fear, lack, self-condemnation, competition, etc., don’t deny your thoughts and feelings but choose to focus instead on light — anything light. Re-interpret your immediate circumstances through the lens of the kingdom of God and His righteousness, take a breath, acknowledge God is with you. Notice how you’re judging the situation from a limited-worldy perspective and refocus on God. Then begin to re-build (resurrect) yourself from the dead (or death-perspective) and enjoy the freedom of allowing your state of being to swim in the faith of God while simultaneously watching the darkness, that previously felt so powerful, begin to dissolve. Voilà . End of suffering ❤️🙏
