✨ Mantra: Let the Sound Guide You ✨

Think of a mantra as a compass for the mind. It’s not just a word or phrase — it’s a vibration, a tool to help you settle, focus, and open your heart.

When we repeat a mantra, we’re doing more than speaking:
• We’re calming our thoughts.
• We’re aligning our energy.
• We’re reminding ourselves who we really are.

You don’t need to get it “right.” The magic happens in the intention behind the sound, in the pause, in the breath between words.

A few ways to bring mantra into your day:
• Whisper it softly when your mind feels scattered.
• Let it hum in your chest during meditation or movement.
• Use it to anchor your energy when life feels fast or heavy.

Mantra asks something simple, but profound:
“What energy do I want to carry right now?”

Whether it’s peace, courage, gratitude, or joy, let the sound of your mantra be the doorway.
And watch how it transforms the space inside you — one vibration at a time.

On the darkest day of the year, let’s gather in the glow together. ✨
Solstice Soundscape Workshop
Journey Through the Elements
with Lisbeth Fregonese & Marta Golden
🗓 Sunday, Dec 21, 2025
🕒 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
💫 Cost: $79

As the light lingers a little less, we’re invited to turn inward—toward stillness, reflection, and renewal. I’d love for you to join us for a deeply restorative sound journey inspired by the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether.

We’ll explore each element through sound, gently opening and harmonizing the chakras (energy centres) so the vibrations can balance the natural frequency of your mind, body, and spirit. 🌎💧🔥🌬✨

Lisbeth and Marta will intuitively guide the experience using:
🎵 Deep, resonant gongs
🎵 Grounding Tibetan bowls
🎵 Delicate chimes
🎵 Soothing rainstick
…plus many more sound textures to invite both inner stillness and flow.

The intention of this journey is simple and powerful:
To calm your nervous system, support your body’s natural healing, and give you a sacred pause to rest, receive, and reset before the new year.

Please bring:
🧘‍♀️ Yoga mat
📓 Journal & pen
💧 Water

If your soul’s been craving quiet, this evening is for you. 💛

Bhāva 💗 — The Feeling Behind Your Practice

Bhāva is all about the energy and intention you bring to your practice — not just the pose you’re in, or how long you meditate. It’s the feeling-tone behind everything you do on your mat… and in life.

Two people can do the exact same pose:
• One with frustration, self-judgment, or impatience.
• One with curiosity, love, and devotion.

Same asana. Completely different Bhāva.

For me, Bhāva shows up in little, powerful moments like:
• Choosing to step onto my mat with gratitude instead of “I should…”
• Softening my heart in a pose that feels wobbly or vulnerable
• Whispering a quiet “thank you” to my body, even on the messy days

Bhāva asks:
👉 How do I want to show up — to this breath, this body, this life?

When we move with love, sincerity, and openness, yoga stops being just exercise. It becomes a living, breathing relationship with ourselves… and something greater.

So today, forget the “perfect pose.”
Instead, ask yourself: What feeling do I want to practice?
Compassion. Courage. Surrender. Joy.

Start there. The posture will follow. ✨

Santosha 🤍 — the art of “enough-ness”
In yoga, Santosha is often translated as contentment… but not in a passive, “settle for less” kind of way. It’s the quiet inner yes to the life you’re in right now — even as you grow, heal, and reach for more.
For me, Santosha shows up in the little moments:
When I’m on my mat and my pose isn’t “perfect,” but my breath feels steady and true
When my day doesn’t go as planned, but I can still find one thing to be grateful for
When I stop comparing, and remember that my path is mine
Santosha doesn’t mean we stop dreaming or evolving.
It means we stop postponing our happiness until everything is “fixed.”
It’s a practice of:
“I am enough in this moment.”
“My body is enough today.”
“This breath is enough to begin again.”
Every time you soften your expectations, offer yourself kindness, and appreciate what is (even just 1%), you are living Santosha.
Maybe today your practice isn’t a fancy asana…
Maybe it’s placing your hand on your heart and whispering:
✨ “Right here, as I am, is a beautiful place to start.”

Japa 🕉️ — meditation with a heartbeat
In yoga, japa means the repetition of a mantra — a word or phrase charged with intention. It’s like giving your mind a gentle, loving job so it doesn’t wander off into worry every two seconds.
Instead of fighting your thoughts, you es**rt them back to the mantra. Again and again. Softly. Patiently.
For me, japa feels like a rhythm the nervous system can lean into.
On the days my mind is busy or my heart feels heavy, repeating a mantra out loud or silently becomes this steady inner anchor.
You don’t need anything fancy to begin.
A simple japa practice you can try:
Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Choose a mantra you connect with, for example:
Sanskrit: “So Hum” (I am That / I am more than this small self)
English: “I am safe. I am enough.”
As you inhale, repeat the first part.
As you exhale, repeat the second.
Inhale: So / Exhale: Hum
or Inhale: I am safe / Exhale: I am enough
Stay with this for 3–5 minutes, letting the words ride the breath.
If your mind wanders (it will), that’s okay.
The practice is the coming back.
Over time, japa becomes more than repetition — it becomes a way of remembering who you really are. 💛

Some days your whole body is tired… and it all lands in your feet. 👣💆‍♀️
That’s where Carrie comes in.
Her reflexology sessions are one of my favourite “secret weapons” for a full-body reset. It feels like the most nurturing foot treatment ever, but it goes so much deeper than that.

In reflexology, your feet are like a map of your whole body.
By working specific points along the soles, toes, and arches, we can help calm the nervous system, support circulation, ease tension, and invite your body back toward balance. Most people walk in stressed and wired… and float out softer, lighter, and deeply relaxed.

Personally, I love that moment in a session when the mind finally goes quiet and the body starts to let go. Shoulders drop. Jaw softens. Breath gets deeper. It’s like your whole system finally gets permission to exhale.

If your body has been asking for rest, care, and a gentler way to heal… this is your sign.
