The Village Of Tansley Woods Retirement And Long Term Care home In 2013, Tansley Woods off Upper Middle Road in Burlington expanded to serve residents in retirement and long-term care.

It was the first village to open The Ruby, a full-service dining restaurant on the village’s 10th Floor overlooking Lake Ontario.

The Tansley elves have been working hard in the Village and cannot wait to see you this Saturday at our Christmas Bazaar! 🎄🎅🏼 We are open 10 AM - 3 PM and have something for all. Bid on our selection of 101 silent auction baskets, stock up on holiday baked goods or preserves, purchase your newest holiday decor homemade craft, stop by our tea room for lunch, take family pictures with Santa, try your luck at our raffle or key lock box, and SO MUCH MORE! We can hardly wait…only 2 more sleeps 😴

We celebrated the Festival of Lights at The Village of Tansley Woods with joy, colour and community! ✨🪔 Diwali reminds us that light triumphs over darkness and good over evil. Residents and Team Members enjoyed traditional dances, authentic food, henna art and beautiful rangoli designs that filled our Village with brightness and togetherness. 🪔🎵✨ Thank you to all of our team members that came together to make these celebrations possible!

What a perfect day we had this weekend for our annual Classic Car Show! 🚗☀️ Classic cars gleaming in the sun, live music filling the air, BBQ sizzling, sweet treats from our ice cream bar, local goodies at the farmers market stand and even a 50/50 raffle! Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun, sunny day to remember! 💚

Our Annual Classic Car Show is this Saturday October 4th from 1:00-3:30pm & we hope to see you there! 🚘 We will have a cash only BBQ, ice cream bar, farmers market stand & 50/50 raffle tickets for sale! 🍔🍦🥕🎟️ All can enjoy live entertainment and a lovely display of vintage vehicles. 🎤☀️ This event is open to the public & will be held in our Village parking lot. Emma’s West and LTC took a trip to the to experience the amazing exhibitions they’re currently hosting!
You can check out “Russna Kaur: Been there twice, haven’t got there yet (the space behind a thin screen, and prying eyes)” and “Gikinoo’amaatowin - This is All Learning” which was part of our efforts to honour Truth & Reconciliation.

Recognizing the significance of corn in the indigenous culture, with corn muffins.
And many residents wearing their orange shirts that they decorated last week in preparation for today.
