Yesterday we were lucky enough to meet Origami, the adorable Scottish Fold kitten being cared for by our friends at SOAR. Poor Origami was showing urinary discomfort and bloody urine. We were able to take x-rays and rule out a bladder stone, but there was a little debris visible at the tip of his p***s. We were able to help him pass a mucus plug so that he could urinate comfortably again. We performed a urinalysis which found evidence of a bladder infection, so we sent him home with antibiotics, special food and some pain medication. He is back at SOAR being spoiled and ready to continue his rehabilitation! We love when we can help our colleagues and keep animals healthy and happy together!

Who's a good girl? Ducky is! Dr. Stewart's puppy recently underwent a spay procedure, and we thought it was a great chance to show you what goes on during a typical surgery day. Ducky's home now, enjoying even more post-op cuddles!

Henry is such a pleasure whenever he comes to visit! Saying no to those big brown eyes is pretty tough...so he hears yes a lot! 😁

Although we mostly see dogs and cats, occasionally we care for smaller pets as well. Today this cute little hamster friend came for a tooth trim. To help him be a little less stressed (and sit nice and still) first we used a little anesthetic gas. He was a star and now his incisors are straight and back to the perfect length!

Georgie is proving that even after surgery, you can be an absolute heartthrob! He is rocking his post-neuter surgery suit, and he knows it!!

Dental Health Month may be over, but Dental Health is always our priority! Handsome Nibbler came dressed to impress for his dental cleaning this week. Unfortunately, he had a broken tooth and some dental disease that led to a few extractions. Removing broken and diseased teeth is important to prevent pain and infection. He was such a champ during his procedure and left with a clean, disease free mouth! Way to go Nibbler!

We can't believe we forgot to share this adorable floofy boy last week! Tommy came for his second vaccine visit, and to say we were all in love is an understatement. We also always appreciate when our patients dress up for their visits!
