Our Burlington Christmas Memorial Service this past Sunday was a heartfelt celebration of those we hold close in our hearts. Together, we created a powerful and loving tribute to their memory. 💖

A special thank you to everyone who donated food and toys for those in need in our community – your generosity will bring joy to families in need this holiday season. 🙏🎁

Many people who have experienced the death of a loved one are grieving, especially during the holiday season when the weight of loss can feel even greater. GriefShare is hosting a 2-hour online seminar with grief experts and group discussion on Tuesday, December 16th from 7-9 pm. Yesterday, we gathered to honour the loved ones we miss most, and were reminded that grief and love walk hand in hand. We are blessed to be part of a community that comes together with open hearts—supporting, remembering, and uplifting one another through every season. Thank you to everyone who joined us (clergy participants, volunteers from Carpenter Hospice and Acclaim Health, the talented musicians, the many family and friends in attendance) as we reflected, celebrated cherished memories, and found some comfort in togetherness this holiday season. ❤️🌟

That’s why our friends at Acclaim Health are running a new workshop and you are invited join them. On December 1st you can meet with others to talk about Facing Meaningful Days While Grieving. The goal of this free event is to provide a calm and caring space to reflect, connect, and practice self-care while experiencing grief.

Community Living Burlington has been chosen as one of the recipients of the 2025 Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign!
Until November 23, you can visit any Burlington Tim Hortons location and purchase a Holiday Smile Cookie. With every cookie sold, 50% of proceeds will support Community Living Burlington, helping them continue to build an inclusive community where everyone belongs. The other 50% supports Tim Hortons Foundation Camps - helping to support youth with the skills they need to reach their potential in our community.
This is an incredible opportunity to raise awareness and funds to enhance programs that empower and enrich lives in our local community!
