Breathe Meditation Breathe Meditation aims to help children and adults dealing with stress, anxiety and attention issues cope with their problems through mindfulness

Are you a passionate self-starter with strong skills in media? If so, we need you!
Breathe Meditation is looking to bring its proven Mindfulness Program for children and those who love and care for them online.
Reporting directly to the Founder/Chief Advocate for Kids, you will be an integral member of a small team looking to calm the chaos, find the focus and bring joy and happiness back to families at this difficult time, through an engaging online offering.
You will be responsible for:
1) Developing engaging animated videos to bring key educational and instructional concepts to life for kids
2) Editing audio and video within the modules to increase professionality
3) Generating PDF, video and audio downloads to support learning and fun
4) Other tasks as needed to bring this project to life and fulfil the vision of teaching all kids the skill of mindfulness.

Key requirements:
1) Strong multi-media skills
2) Passion and drive for excellence in all you do
3) Creativity
4) Self-starter
5) Strong communication skills
6) Team-player

Qualifications
Degree in Media/ Illustration/ Animation
Skills with Adobe Creative and other animation software

I am opening up my next group Mindfulness Class for students aged 8-13 years. It starts on April 20th, and will cover:

What is stress?
How can I tell if I am stressed?
What can I do to calm down?
How can I use mindfulness to improve my happiness, my sleep, my attention, my friendships?

It is an 8-week session (1.5 hours at a time) designed for kids, with games/activities. Parents are included so that you learn what they learn and everyone can talk the same language

$300 for 8 weeks for parent + child/youth

My next Breathe EASY Mindfulness class for children aged 8-13 and their parents is now open.

This is a great way to learn some techniques to reduce stress in those 'Emergency' moments, as well as undertake practices to promote a happier and healthier frame of mind. Designed specifically for children with anxiety, this program can help anyone.

$300 for 8 sessions of 1.5 hours (one child + one parent)
Starts April 20th at 1-2.30pm for 8 weeks.

Breathe EASY is opening for a new session on January 19th 1pm-2.30pm

8-week mindfulness session for children aged 8-13 years (1.5hrs each week). Cost is for parent and child.

Just letting everyone know that my next 8-week session of Mindfulness for Children starts on April 11th.

I will work with your children through games, activities and meditation to teach them what mindfulness is, how it can help them, how to practice formally and informally, how to tell when stress is coming and what to do about it, and how to focus on the good things in our lives. It is a fun session, and I love working with amazing children as they learn that they have some control over how they react to their thoughts.

A really interesting article. In my classes, I see a lot of children (and adults) who self-diagnose as perfectionist. It causes a lot of stress and anxiety, as I can attest, being a perfectionist myself. Time to learn strategies to cope with these automatic negative thoughts and worries that arise as we drive ourselves to unrealistic standards. This is where mindfulness can help.

For those of you that want to try something new with your children (aged 8-13), I am starting my next 8-week Breathe EASY mindfulness course this Saturday (13th Jan) at 10am.

It is 8 weeks of 1.5 hour sessions focussing on what mindfulness is and how it can help children reduce their own anxiety and stress, and techniques that they can use to help them cope with life. I teach lots of different mindfulness activities and work through activities, group exercises and meditations. It is a fun, welcoming and educational environment.

Just $275 for 8 weeks for your child and you! Yes, you get come to come and learn the techniques as well. Was learning mindfulness one of your new year's resolutions? If so, this is a perfect way to spend quality time with your child learning an essential life skill !

It's school report card time. Is your child struggling with anxiety or stress that is interfering with their ability and enjoyment of school? Do they need help learning skills to pay attention?

My next Breathe EASY course- Mindfulness for Children is now taking registrations. It starts on January 13th at 10am-11.30am, and lasts for 8 weeks. We cover the science of stress, how it helps us and how it can harm us, and techniques to help reduce stress, as well as practices that help increase our ability to focus and pay attention.

Come and join me for a Mindfulness class on Saturday morning (9.30-10.30am). It is going to be the last nice day for a while, so I thought a mindful walk through the ravine and down to the lake would be great. Mindful listening and looking to be enjoyed!! No experience necessary, just a willingness to relax and BE!!

This will be the last class for three weeks (lots of kid commitments coming up) so I am really looking forward to the class for some 'me time'
