Think of your block sumo deadlift like you’re trying to push the platform straight down with your feet — not pull the bar up, but drive the floor away.

Nice work from everyone at the meet!

Nicole made good progress from her last meet, adding 7.5kg to her squat to match her bench and finishing with a 5kg increase on her deadlift!

Alisa got back on the platform after taking over two months off from testing to focus on a triathlon. She added 5kg to her squat and 2.5kg to both her bench and deadlift (we’re counting it even though they said you let go of the bar!)

Drew had a strong day, putting 25kg on his squat and 22.5kg on his bench since his last meet. Next time let’s not miss your squat openers!
