If you are always feeling on edge, you are experiencing a state of extended hyperarousal. Everything begins to feel like a threat. Our bodies were not meant to experienced prolonged hyperarousal. It was meant to get us out of danger: like adrenaline to do things that almost seem superhuman.

Find one way to calm your nervous system, your body, and your mind, and you will begin to see things more clearly.
