This was THE BEST! 🧑‍🎄

My dog, Blue, and I have recently joined the St. John’s Ambulance Therapy dog team, and yesterday we got to walk in the Burlington Christmas parade with the St John’s team.

I saw many of you along the parade route! And it was so great to see the dogs bringing joy and smiles to people, which is exactly why I signed up to volunteer for the program in the first place!

We are officially SOLD OUT for the screening of The (M) Factor film on Nov 28th- 120 women bought tickets in just a few days!

Don’t worry if you’ve missed it, we’re working on another screening, hosted by Burlington Sports and Spine Clinic in January! This film helps to break the silence surrounding peri-menopause and menopause and focuses on the massive healthcare gap for this demographic.

White shirts and a suitcase….. a sure sign that I’m working at the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board this weekend!

These exams happen three times a year in Hamilton, and it’s the last hurdle before chiropractic students can obtain their Canadian license to practice as a chiropractor. I’ve been working as an Examiner with the CCEB for nearly a decade now, and I still always, always learn some clinical tidbits on these weekends.

Happy Friday! I’m at Burlington Sports and Spine Clinic until 5:00.

We went to the Burlington Humane Society’s “Pooch Plunge” at Nelson outdoor pool on Saturday. It’s safe to say my dogs loved the treats in the goodie bags!

It was my birthday this weekend, and my husband got me this birthday gift. I LOVE IT. It’s huge- 28”x40”- and hanging in my bedroom.

For those following along with the adventures of our foster dog, Artie…

I’m so happy to report that he’s been adopted into a great home! Artie was SUCH a gem, and if we didn’t already have two 🐶 🐶 I would’ve kept him for sure.

I was always hesitant to foster, as I worried about the heartbreak I’d feel when I had to say goodbye, but this has been such a rewarding experience. If you’re on the fence about fostering, do it! The rewards far outweigh the other stuff. ❤️
