There’s something truly special about bringing gentle, heart-centered Reiki energy directly to our seniors. During an in-home visit, your loved one relaxes comfortably in their own bed or favorite chair while I channel calming, restorative energy to support balance in mind, body, and spirit.

Reiki sessions for seniors may help with:

• Emotional comfort and companionship
• Gentle pain and tension support
• Better sleep and overall well-being

POV: I just drove past this house and for a solid 3 seconds thought, “Wait… is this where Bluey lives?!” 🏡💙

Then I remembered… they’re in Australia and I am definitely not in Brisbane right now.

Somewhere in my head I fully expected Bluey to run out the front door yelling “Mum!” while Bandit watered the lawn.

Why does every cute Queensland-style house automatically feel like the Heeler house?!

Beyond Words: Big Ocean, The Throat Chakra, and the Power of Expression

If you know me, you know I’m a total K-pop stan. Why? Because the energy is unmatched. Whether it’s the global impact of BTS or the groundbreaking debut of Big Ocean (the first Deaf K-pop group dropping their EP on March 3rd!), these artists are masters of the Throat Chakra.
In my Reiki practice, I talk a lot about "alignment," and K-pop is basically alignment in motion. It’s proof that communication isn't just about the words you speak, it’s about the vibration you send out.
From my days learning sign language with my colleague Margaret to watching my son's Deaf teammate dominate on a Burlington hockey rink, I’ve learned that the most powerful "voices" are the ones that come from the heart.

POV: You’re the "weird" one at the family dinner (and how I finally stopped caring)
Let’s be real: "Fitting in" is a trap. I spent years on the outside looking in. At family gatherings, I felt like I wasn’t "grown-up" enough or "skilled" enough to be at the table. Even when my work started getting recognized, I felt like a glitch in the system: too demon for the spiritual people, and way too spiritual for the Christian people.
But here is the secret: Belonging isn't something you find; it's something you create.
Studying Reiki taught me that I belong to myself first. And when I started teaching at Let It Go with Reiki, I realized I wasn't alone.
