POTS from a homeopathic lens
If you’ve been told you have POTS, you already know it’s not “just” a heart rate issue.
From a classical homeopathic perspective, treatment isn’t aimed at chasing numbers or suppressing symptoms. The focus is on how your whole system adapts (or fails to adapt) to demand—especially standing, heat, exertion, and stress.
One thing homeopaths pay close attention to is patterns, not isolated symptoms.
This is where concomitants matter
(symptoms that reliably show up together)
Common groupings people with POTS often recognize:
• Palpitations with dizziness
• Dizziness with visual dimming
• Fatigue with headache
• Weakness with tremulousness
• Cold hands/feet with a flushed face
These pairings aren’t random.
They tell a story about how the nervous system, circulation, and energy regulation are interacting.
Rather than asking “What diagnosis do you have?”
a homeopath asks:
• What makes you worse or better?
• What happens together every time?
• What does it feel like when your body can’t stay upright or keep up?
For many people with POTS, the goal isn’t forcing the body to perform—but helping it regain stability, resilience, and confidence in its own signals.
If you have POTS and feel like your symptoms come in recognizable clusters, you’re not imagining it.
Those groupings are often the key.
