Lindsay Jacobs-Scott, RMT I'm a registered massage therapist practicing in Ontario. As a registered massage therapist, my clinical focus is in deep tissue and trigger point therapy.

I also have training in pregnancy massage therapy as well as labour support services through Trimesters Massage Therapy. With a passion for pregnancy and women's health, I hope to grow this aspect of my practice. I am also certified in infant massage therapy and warm bamboo treatments. My goal with every client is to address the acute nature of their condition and work towards a maintenance program. I formulate a treatment plan along with prescribing home care exercises to help the condition when out of my massage therapy room. My official schedule is currently Monday through Friday with varying hours. I also typically have one Saturday a month available for appointments. Ok we hear this all the time! What is that? Stop crying.

We say it to our children even. I mean some of us will even say, 'stop your crying or i'll give you something to cry about'. Ick right?

We cry for a reason, and others around us may not understand our root reason which is why often they want us to stop crying because they believe we are being sad and hurt for no reason. However this is always a reason. And we need emotional validation even if we do not agree with the reasons we say we are crying.
Here are some very useful ways, that are healthy btw, to say to someone that is crying.

No more dismissing and shaming even if the other person crying is making you uncomfortable. Remember the words we say last much longer than that moment. So many adults now do not know how to cry because they were shamed when they were a child. This is important.

And we are here to help you learn how to do this better if this is something you think you need help with.
