Before the Super Bowl halftime show (yes, the Bad Bunny one 😅), I watched the real main event: The Westminster Dog Show 🐾
This year’s Best in Show winner was Penny, a stunning Doberman Pinscher — and the story behind it gave me chills.
Dobermans haven’t won Westminster in 37 years… and the last time they did, the handler was Andy Linton — the same man who stood in the ring with Penny this year. Full-circle. Storybook. Powerful.
For breeds that have faced so much misunderstanding and stigma, this win felt like advocacy in motion. Strong, loyal, gentle, intelligent, loving — exactly what so many of us know these dogs to be.
Huge congratulations to Penny 🖤
And deep respect to Andy Linton for a lifetime of standing up for this incredible breed.

Did you watch Westminster?
And what’s a breed you think deserves more love and understanding?
