Kristin is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) working in Burlington Ontario. She has a passion for empowering and educating patients of all ages in order to achieve optimal health and well-being through individualized treatment plans. She graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science from UWO in 2010 and recently graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Naturopathy. She has successfully completed the Naturopathic Physicians Licencing Examinations (NPLEX) and the Ontario Board Examinations and am currently in the process of registering with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy - Naturopathy (BDDT-N) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). The ND program at CCNM is a four-year, post-graduate program that involves more than 1,200 hours of clinical experience. During her 4th year internship, Kristin saw patients at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic and the Sherborne Health Centre. During that time, she became proficient in patient assessments, physical exams as well as developing both short and long-term treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions. Appointments typically include history taking, physical exam and patient education. Treatment plans typically involve a variety of modalities such as lifestyle and diet counselling, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, acupuncture, supplementation, injection, physical medicine, and many more techniques. Kristin has had the opportunity to travel around the globe participating in medical brigades and conferences related to global health. From these experiences, she has developed her ability to communicate with patients and see how their lifestyles impact their overall health.
