Welcome to The Burlington and Area Midwives OFFICIAL page! We are a group of midwives that provide primary care in the Burlington area with privileges at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. We support hospital birth and home birth for low risk pregnancies. As a client, you have access to midwives 24 hours a day 7 days a week for urgent concerns. Our office is open most weekdays for any non-urgent inquiries. Our main office is located at 4332 New Street, Burlington with a satellite location (because we are growing!) at 760 Brant Street. This page is a place for past clients, new clients and prospective clients to gather. We share news and information about our practice and midwifery in Ontario and the world. Due to this particularly bad flu season, Joseph Brant hospital continues to require masking and we will continue best practice in line with our hospital. Masking will be required for both pregnant clients and their support people in both our clinic locations. If you are ill please contact reception to make a plan for your visit.

We are so excited for the up coming year! Our team of 18 midwives and three students helped bring 484 bundles of joy into the world in 2025.

A special thank you to Joseph Brant Hospital and its incredible team of nurses, OBGYNs, RTs, LCs, anesthesiologists, paediatricians and administrators for their unwavering support. We cant wait to grow our BAM family in 2026!🎉

Happy holidays from BAM! ❤️💚 We wish you all warmth, joy, and magical moments this holiday season!

This year we celebrated the holidays alongside our colleges at Joseph Bran Hospital’s PSA (professional staff association) event! 🩵

The night was full of great food, holiday games, and karaoke! 🎤🎶
