Congratulations to Cesar B. on 2 years of continuous sobriety! How does someone stay sober for 2 years? To a newcomer, even a day or a few hours of sobriety can seem like an impossible obstacle. Yet, all it takes is following a few simple instructions; which is exactly what Cesar has consistently done since his arrival to our door. Even today, Cesar shows up every time he is asked to help newcomers. He takes pride in helping other men change their lives. Cesar leads by example, making us and his family truly proud! Keep up the great work Cesar!

Congratulations to Rick T. on 1 year of continuous sobriety! Rick came to us a year ago and asked for help. His struggle with addiction had reached its zenith and something needed to change fast. Since that fateful day, Rick has not been the same. With us, Rick worked hard and after he stayed closely connected with our community. Indeed, Rick has dedicated countless hours to helping newcomers at our locations. He can also always be found at our various events. Keep up the great work Rick! We are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Brandon W. on 4 years of continuous sobriety! Brandon called us from another program because he needed more time. For him, as we often find with many others, an initial term was not enough. We offered him the chance to participate in our primary program and transition to our sober living program when he was ready. Brandon did just that and with the added time has enjoyed extraordinary success. Since leaving us, Brandon has not only gone on to live a rich full life, he's also helped many others like himself recover. Keep up the great work Brandon! We are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Ryan K. on 4 years of continuous sobriety! Ryan was picked up by another alumni of ours who is celebrating 6 years soon, Brandon H.; Brandon saw that Ryan needed help and drove him to our doors. Ryan quickly graduated and threw himself into service work. He spent years tirelessly helping others; to this day, we still hear stories of residents celebrating milestones because Ryan helped them on day one. Today, Ryan lives a happy life with his partner on their small farm and still stays connected. Keep up the great work Ryan! We are all very proud of you!

What a turnout! Thank you to each of our volunteers, our donors, and our community partners at DTES Emergency Supply Hub! Yesterday, was one for the books. It was our 10th major outreach event on the Downtown Eastside. We gave away hundreds of items to those in need and spread some hope. We will see you all again for our 11th event soon!

Congratulations to Dylan W. on 1 year of continuous sobriety! Dylan struggled for years before he reached out for help and made his way to us. In our primary program, Dylan stood out for his eagerness to volunteer and help others. When it was time to graduate and move on, Dylan extended his time with us and eventually even chose to participate in our sober living program--very wise choices! Today, Dylan enjoys a quality of life he simply couldn't image a year ago. Keep up the great work Dylan! We are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Marcus E. on 1 year of continuous sobriety! The contrast between Marcus on day one and Marcus smiling with his daughters, simply couldn't be more stark. Marcus came to us a year ago and did everything that we suggested. He particularly took to helping others and spreading the message far and wide. Since graduating, he's gone on to find purpose through community outreach work. Hawaa Marcus for all you've for others! Keep up the great work! We are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Brandon D. on 1 year of continuous sobriety! Brandon was first dropped off at our doors a few years ago by his sister. His drinking problem had completely taken over his life; he'd even had to leave another program. In his time with us, Brandon struggled a lot yet never gave up. We stayed with him on his journey, providing him with every support and resource. This past year has been something of a miracle, Brandon finally got it! Today, he is in a healthy relationship, has moved out, his family is extremely proud, and, most importantly, he is happy. Keep up the great work Brandon! We are all very proud of you!

Huge congratulations to Hali H. on 2 years of continuous sobriety! Hali called us two years ago at his lowest; he had fallen apart and needed to do something different quickly. With us, he learned to follow the same simple program to which each of our staff owe their success. In the years since, Hali has thrown himself into the helping field. Through that work, he has helped thousands of people struggling on the streets of the Lower Mainland. Hali and his team have also become a key part of our outreach efforts. Keep up the phenomenal work Hali and thank you for all you do! We are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Elijah V. on 1 year of continuous sobriety! Dropped off by his father one cold February day, Elijah's life began to change at our location. With us, he learned of a simple program, a way to live life happy, joyous, and free from addiction. This February, Elijah celebrates his milestone year with his family and friends; his life and outlook transformed. Keep up the great work Elijah! We are all very proud of you!

Congratulations to Jarred M. on 4 years of continuous sobriety! Jarred was struggling substances and called us for help; his life was unmanageable and he needed help. Here, we showed him exactly what we ourselves do on a daily basis. After graduating, Jarred moved back home and brought with him what he learned; he's since helped many other men recover like himself. Keep up the great work Jarred! We are all very proud of you!
