❓About Nina:

Nina started her creative journey at a young age in musical theatre. She trained in theatre and stage presence throughout her whole life, but when she moved to Vancouver, she fell in love with the art form of dance.
She has trained in various street dance styles such as dancehall, hip-hop, house, etc. She has also dipped her toes slightly in other forms such as salsa and jazz. However, her true passion lies in the genre of Reggaeton. Being born in Colombia and growing up with the influences of this genre, she saw the evolution of this music style and loves moving to this genre of music the most, which led her to take her passions and teach the feeling behind culture and the style. She sees how reggaeton can change someone’s mood in a matter of seconds and she chooses to bring this mood booster to all her clases 🤩

Yulia brings her extensive dance, capoeira, sports & performance experience mixed with passion to teach & share the joy of Brazilian culture 🇧🇷 After being a gymnast for many years & getting a degree in Business & Finance, Yulia started her dance & fitness coaching career in 2008. She then fell in love with capoeira (Grupo Axé Capoeira) in 2011 & dedicated herself to the art. Later in 2019, Yulia opened Vancouver Samba School to focus on and promote samba dance. In 2024, Yulia is teaching capoeira & samba in Downtown Vancouver 3 times a week 🤩

Celina Villarroel Whiting is a professional dancer and instructor with past credits that include music videos, corporate performances, theatre shows and dance competitions. She has trained in multiple dance styles including Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Heels, Dancehall, Salsa, Bachata, Samba and West Coast Swing. While she continues to teach and perform in these various styles, she is mostly known in Vancouver for her brand of Reggaeton classes and choreographies. She strives to live her passions of captivating audiences with her dancing as well as teaching everyone how to move and dance🤩
