We are very honoured to achieve this award, and continue to work every day to live up to it. We are currently the only hospital in Burnaby offering LASER surgery for pets. We book 30 MINUTE appointments for new problems, to maximize your time with the doctors and staff, and minimize your wait times. Our team consists of a group of extremely dedicated individuals, who are passionate about animals. Our veterinarians and all our support staff strive to provide you and your pet with the best possible care through courteous and efficient service as well as the most current medical and surgical techniques. We treat every client as an individual as we realize that every pet and its owner have different medical, emotional and financial needs. We are excited to share with everyone we have a new doctor that has joined the South Burnaby Veterinary Hospital Family this September🐾

Dr. Aleksandra (Ola) Cetera graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and has worked in the lower mainland for the last 6 years, but has recently moved into the Vancouver area. Dr. Ola has experience working with farm, exotic and companion animals but her heart has always been fullest when working with beloved pets.

She enjoys working with clients through both simple and challenging medical cases, as well as performing soft tissue surgeries and dentistry.

Where does 'Ola' come from? It is a Polish nickname for Aleksandra and so the two names are interchangable!

Dr. Ola has a "sweet and salty" tabby cat named Reese 🍫🐾that often comes to work with her as he is an aspiring Clinic Cat.

She looks forward to meeting you and your beloved furbabies this fall!
