- ignore, change the subject, move on
- give thanks and share that you can get more if you’re still hungry
- give thanks and share that you’re saving room for delicious pumpkin pie

What not to say:
- I’m watching my calories
- I’m on a new diet
- I’m too fat for all this food
- I’m watching my waistline

Experienced moms, will this last?

After 6+ months of toddler bedtimes later than 9pm, I am grateful for a little bit of time to myself before bed.

Sleep is a very important component of my healthy lifestyle. As I’m navigating toddler + baby sleep hygiene, I’m choosing to take the wins as they come.

Earlier bed times has made me feel so much better even with the baby wake ups.

I’m not super happy about how dark it is but I will take the earlier bedtimes!

What’s your favourite Halloween candy?

I used to love coffee crisp (even as a kid, yes I know that’s kind of weird) and I still do, but I’m not sure it’s my favourite anymore.

I kind of like “fun size” because you get to try a few bites of more than one thing but I’ll need to have a think on what’s my favourite.

I know it’s kind of boring but having a plan and sticking to your plan can be one of the best things you can do for yourself. Be empowered by following your choices. That being said, don’t be too strict or unreasonable with yourself. Build momentum with wins!

Why lentil soup?

Lentil soup with a broth/tomato base is going to be a lower calorie option.

The lentils and veggies have a high amount of fibre to keep you full and feed your digestive tract.

It’s a flexible option, you can buy cans or make a batch and freeze it in portions.

Overall the lentil soup provides good quality nutrition while fitting into my lifestyle.

AND I like it!

For me, it’s comfort without all the cals
