Home Support Worker /PSW at Country Lane Estates in Burton
Part-time to Full-time PSW in an 18 bed home starting in September
Must have Certificate of PSW, HCA, PCW. (Schooling can be provided if you do not have the appropriate credentials)
Must have CPR and First aid level C certificate.
Must have a Criminal record check.
Must be willing to work all shifts (Days, evenings and overnights)
Must be willing to work Holidays and Weekends.
$19.77 per hour and we offer a health benefits program. Our shifts are 12hrs and 8hrs. Staff must be willing to work holidays and weekends, nights and days.

Responsibilities and task are
Accompany patient on outdoor recreational activities
Assist with cleaning sterilizing setting up in assembling of medical equipment
Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
Perform other duties related to personal care
Supply and empty bed pans
Take patient’s blood pressure temperature and pulse
Way lift turn and position patient
Deliver messages, reports requisitions and specimens between departments
Make beds and maintain patient rooms
Supervise patients exercise, routine routines
Administer suppositories, colonic, irrigations and enemas
Bathe, dressed and grooming patient
Transport patients between care facilities
Transport patient in wheelchair or stretcher
Answer call signals to determine patient’s needs
Collect specimens
Prepare patient for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas
Administer first aid in emergency situations
