It goes hand in hand, don’t you think? Over the years my methods and products have changed dramatically. Suppers used to be me opening a jar of a store bought sauce and pouring it over cooked spaghetti. My kids still reminisce about apple cake for breakfast! It was easy, but not nutritionally sound. I knew that something had to change and it was me. I lost weight and I started to take an interest in what and how I was cooking. I experimented, sifted through all my cookbooks, used the Internet and went through all those magazines that I never threw away and found recipes that I modified without sacrificing taste! Eating better and changing things up with variety are essential in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Food and health should be simple. By posting different recipes on this page I am hoping to create a stir and help to inspire you to experiment with food a little more. ☕️ 🎃There’s nothing like a nice muffin with a cup of coffee or tea. I can’t remember the last time that I bought a muffin from a coffee shop or anywhere else for that matter! It’s not that store bought muffins are bad, but they are overloaded with sugar and way too much fat and are just not ‘worth it’ to me!

Yes, this recipe is vegan, but before you say “I’m not vegan, forget this recipe!”, don’t knock it until you try it! It’s good to change things up now and then!

🎃Looking what to do with your pumpkin? Make pumpkin purée and bake!!!

This healthy bread is made with homemade pumpkin purée, but you can use canned too.

Super easy to make and absolutely delicious. I added golden raisins and chopped pecans to my recipe, but you can easily swap it for other ingredients.

❤️Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with Tahini Dressing❤️

💕 I love butternut squash! You can do so much with squash and it’s a great addition to any meal whether in a soup or roasted as a side dish.

🥗 I love salads, but when the weather gets colder I like to add roasted veggies to it and give it some more power and oomph.

➡️ One thing about salad – you can swap ingredients that you’re not crazy about very easily. If you don’t like quinoa, don’t add it in. If you have a dislike for kale, swap it for spinach!

❤️Baked Spaghetti Squash Lasagna❤️

💕This tastes just like lasagna, but without the noodles!

I’m a firm believer in eating from all the food groups, including carbs. Obviously if you have a gluten intolerance or wheat allergies, it’s not part of your regimen. But, if you want to reduce your carb intake, or need a gluten-free substitute, spaghetti squash is the way to go!

Even if you have no sensitivities to gluten, it’s a nice healthy alternative and absolutely delicious!

❤️Honey Miso Glazed Salmon❤️

I love salmon – no question about it. But, I do need to change it up a bit or else I tend to get bored eating the same things over and over again. And if you’re like me, you eat salmon alot!

Here’s a new version of salmon made with my favorite ingredients – honey and miso paste!

I baked it in the oven, but it’s delicious on a bbq grill or in your air fryer!
