A heartfelt thank you to all of FACE’s Donors for your incredible support in 2025. Your generosity makes it possible for us to offer intensive, highly specialized programs that help children and young adults with neuromotor challenges build skills, confidence, and independence—programs that are truly life-changing, but also very expensive to deliver. As we celebrate Christmas and look ahead to a new year, we are deeply grateful that you choose to stand with our participants and their families, helping us keep these vital services going and growing.

As we head into the Christmas holidays, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible individuals, families, staff, and supporters who make our program so special.

This season has been filled with creativity, learning, laughter, and meaningful connections. From handmade crafts and shared smiles to moments of growth big and small, we are so proud of everything our participants have accomplished.

Our program will be closed for the Christmas holidays as we take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year, ready for more learning, movement, and joyful moments together.

From all of us at Face, we wish you a holiday season filled with warmth, kindness, and peace, and a new year full of hope and possibility. 🎁❄️

✨ What a day! ✨
Our Winter Market was full of cheer, community, and generosity. With 17 amazing vendors, a busy bake sale, exciting raffle prize winners, and special visits from Santa and Rudolph, the room was buzzing from start to finish. 🎄🎅🦌

We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support our nonprofit, shopped local, shared smiles, and helped make the day such a wonderful success. A huge thank you to our vendors. We hope you had a great day and felt the love and support from our community.

Also a big thank you to our volunteers who helped on the day of the market! It wouldn't have been possible without you!

Our program has been buzzing with creativity and care as our participants have been hard at work preparing for our upcoming Winter Market. From hand-crafted ornaments and glowing snow globes to delicious baked treats, every item has been made with patience, pride, and a whole lot of heart.

These creations are more than gifts. They are moments of growth, confidence, and accomplishment. We are so proud of the effort, focus, and joy our participants have poured into every detail.

Our halls will be filled with 19 incredible local vendors offering handmade goods, seasonal treats, art, accessories, gifts and treasures waiting to be wrapped and loved. Even sweeter, several vendors will be donating a portion of their sales to support our programming for children and adults with neuromotor disorders. Their generosity helps us continue providing Conductive Education, adaptive learning, and meaningful opportunities for growth and independence.

We have been busy in the kitchen — and it smells delicious! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
Our adult participants rolled, baked, frosted, and decorated cookies for a very special thank-you gift to our donor. 🥰🍪

Their hard work, attention to detail, and teamwork turned a simple baking day into something truly sweet.
We’re so proud of them — and so grateful to be able to share their talent through this gift! ❄️💛

Opening Doors to Accessibility: FACE Receives Major Gift from the Allardyce Bower Foundation

🎉✨ We are absolutely thrilled to announce a transformational gift of ~$71,500 from the incredible Allardyce Bower Foundation — one of the largest donations in FACE’s nearly 30-year history! ✨🎉

The Allardyce Bower Foundation, a respected Calgary-based organization, is committed to building brighter futures by funding programs that support children’s mental and physical well-being through education, sport, healthy living, and developmental support. Their generous gift will fund vital renovations to our entranceway and bathroom, ensuring full accessibility for participants with mobility impairments and expanding our capacity to serve even more, especially in our ever-popular Young Adult Program.

These critical upgrades will not only make our space more inclusive but further cement FACE’s position as Calgary’s premier centre of excellence for the neurodiverse community.
