One of my favourite new concepts: komorebi ✨

It means sunlight filtering through the trees.

But here’s what I love most…
It is a moment that can never be replicated.

The angle of the sun shifts.
The wind moves the branches.
Leaves flutter. Seasons change.

Nature is always in motion.

Which means the exact pattern of light and shadow you’re witnessing?
It will never exist in that same way again.

The framed shadow on the ground or wall.
The golden glow between branches.
This precise dance of light.

A once-in-a-lifetime collaboration between sun, sky, wind, and tree.

Thank you for the opportunity to get creative with the teachers of Central Alberta.

There is something so powerful about a room full of educators choosing to pause, play, and make something with their hands. To connect beyond lesson plans. To remember their own creativity.

We explored self kindness. What it means to be your own best friend. To speak to yourself with the same compassion you offer your students. To throw kindness around like confetti and let some of it land on you, too.

It was truly an honor to gather, get crafty, and witness the spark that happens when we give ourselves permission to create.

Be kind. Be you. Be your own kind of magic. ✨

It’s a heart beet. 💗

Even though I prepped the veggies for tonight’s soup, I still smiled when I fished out a heart-shaped beet from the pot.

A little wink from the universe.
A reminder that glimmers are everywhere… even simmering in dinner.

Bundled up and braved the weather with my co-facilitator, to spend the afternoon with the kids at Woodland School. ❄️✨

Day one of our ArtsReImagined program in the gr. 4/5 classroom and already I’m feeling the magic. Time to connect. Time to listen. Time to learn who they are and what truly matters to them.

There is something so powerful about being invited into their ideas, their questions, their hopes.

My heart is full after today. I cannot wait to see what creativity unfolds over the next few months. 🌟

Today’s workshop was pure magic ✨

One participant finally saw her creation as something she was truly proud of. Something that felt aligned with who she is.

Witnessing the joy she expressed as she worked on her piece was incredibly moving.

These are the moments that remind me why this work matters so much. 💛
