Celebrate the Relationship That Lasts a Lifetime: You. 🧡
This Valentine’s Day, we’re shifting the focus inward. We often talk about love as something we give to others, but self-love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a daily practice.

As the checklist says, it takes:

*Acceptance of where you are right now.
*Practice in setting boundaries and showing up for yourself.
*Belief that you are worthy of your own care.
*Patience for the days when things feel heavy.
*Self-forgiveness for past mistakes.
*Self-compassion to speak to yourself like a dear friend.

Self-love isn't always bubble baths and bouquets; sometimes, it’s the quiet, hard work of mental wellness. If you’re finding it difficult to check these boxes lately, remember that you don’t have to walk through the woods alone.

Taking the first step toward therapy is one of the greatest acts of self-love there is. We are here to support you on your journey towards wellness. Contact us today or go online to get started!

It’s time to pull back the curtain on what therapy actually looks like. 🌲✨

There’s a lot of noise out there about what it means to see a therapist, and let’s be honest—the myths can be loud. They tell us we should only go if there’s a crisis, or that needing help is a weakness.

At Through the Woods Psychology, we believe the opposite. Therapy isn’t about being "broken"; it’s about the courage to be human. It’s a collaborative space designed to help you understand yourself deeper, grow through challenges, and find clarity before things feel like they’re falling apart.

Connect with us today and get started on your mental health journey!

Eating disorders don’t have a "look," and recovery doesn’t have a timeline. 🌿

This Eating Disorder Awareness Week, we’re challenging the myths that often prevent people from seeking the support they deserve. Whether you are struggling today, in the middle of a messy recovery, or supporting a loved one, please remember:

Weight is not an indicator of struggle. You can be at any size and still be deserving of help.

Recovery is not a straight line. Setbacks are part of the journey, not the end of it.

You are "sick enough" right now. You don’t need to reach a breaking point to start healing.

If you’re ready to take the first step, we’re here to walk through the woods with you. Reach out at:

Ever heard of a "Glimmer"? ✨

While we often talk about triggers, glimmers are the beautiful opposite. They are those tiny, micro-moments of peace, connection, and joy that signal to our nervous system that we are safe and okay.

Whether it’s the way the light hits your morning coffee, the sound of waves on the sand, or the quiet comfort of a favorite book, these moments matter. Glimmers don’t minimize the hard things, but they do give our minds a place to rest and recharge.

Today, we’re inviting you to be a "glimmer hunter." What’s one small thing that brought you a sense of calm today? 👇

If you’re looking for more ways to find balance and connection in your life, our team is here to walk with you! 🌲

New year, same pressure to "reinvent" yourself? 🌲✨

Often, we set resolutions based on what we think we should do, rather than what actually brings us fulfillment. This year, shift the focus from performance to purpose.

At Through the Woods Psychology, we believe that the most sustainable goals are those rooted in your personal values. Whether you’re looking to build better boundaries, manage anxiety, or simply live more intentionally, a therapist can provide the tools to help you navigate your path.

You don't have to figure it all out by January 1st. We’re here to help you create goals that feel authentic to who you are.

🧡 Ready to start? Contact us today to get started on building value-based goals!
