Last month, our VP of Product, Kelsey Pyde, and our CEO, Steven, participated in the TEDx Quest for Scale event, contributing to an important conversation on what it takes to move ideas from inception to everyday impact.

As facilitators of a small discussion circle alongside leaders from Onsite3D, ZayZoon, Stanley, and Everline, they explored how ideas gain traction, momentum, and relevance at scale. The discussion reinforced a core theme of the event: meaningful change only happens when ideas are designed to grow, adapt, and reach the communities they aim to serve.

We were grateful to have our team members be apart of a dialogue focused on scaling innovation thoughtfully and sustainably, and to learn from peers across industries who are working to turn bold ideas into lasting systems.

Last week, our VP of Sales & Marketing, Alana Skocdopole, attended TechRx: Connect, Innovate, Evolve, an engaging event hosted by the White Rock–South Surrey and Surrey–North Delta Divisions of Family Practice.

The evening brought together primary care providers and health technology leaders to explore how innovation is shaping the future of care. Insightful keynote sessions from Dr. Sian Tsuei and Dr. Mohamed Alarakhia highlighted the practical and emerging roles of AI in medicine, from clinical decision-making to workflow transformation.

Events like TechRx create valuable opportunities for healthcare providers to connect directly with new digital tools, exchange ideas, and better understand how technology can support more efficient, patient-centred care. We were grateful to be part of the conversation and to continue learning alongside the clinical community!

What does asynchronous care actually mean in practice?

It’s secure, provider-to-provider communication that doesn’t require both clinicians to be available at the same time, allowing questions to be reviewed thoughtfully and answered efficiently. For patients, this means faster access to expert guidance without unnecessary delays. For providers, it means flexible, workflow-friendly collaboration that supports better clinical decision-making.

Many hospital admissions and prolonged stays are driven not by medical necessity, but by gaps in home-based support.

In our recent Alethea Learning Session, Dr. Charles Wong explored why traditional homecare models often fail patients and families, and how Medically-Supervised Homecare™ can provide a practical, physician-led alternative that keeps patients safely at home while reducing strain on the health system.

One of the most common questions we hear from specialists is: How does Alethea fit into my day?

Asynchronous consults are designed to work around clinical workflows - not interrupt them. Specialists can respond when it fits their schedule, provide high-impact guidance in minutes, and reduce unnecessary in-person visits.

It’s efficient, flexible, and clinically meaningful collaboration, without added clinic burden.
