Therapist Social Networking & Art Event May 1st

We are hosting a therapist networking social evening on May 1st between 6-8pm in Calgary Alberta.

Join us for an evening of networking, art creation, and education.
We are raising funds for our grief groups and group room improvements. This event will also mark the end of our art silent auction as well.

We will have an art activity, some education (about grief counselling), and light snacks. Our theme is about Identity.

Our gift for you at the end of the evening will be a sharing of our jade plants. A symbol of good luck and abundance.

Losing someone close to you can be a profound and emotionally devastating experience. When someone chooses medical assistance in dying (MAID), it can result in feelings and experiences that are different than with other deaths.

Wellspring is offering an eight-week support group this fall that provides a safe environment for you to share your story and feelings and meet with others who are also grieving the loss of a partner or family member.

Grief doesn’t move in neat stages. It can show up in the present (your day-to-day life), reach back into the past (memories, regrets, longing), and hit you in the future (milestones, fears, what will never be). And sometimes it all shows up at once.

ART SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER

We are having a silent auction to raise funds for our grief group room upgrades and grief groups.

You might be a therapist or artist yourself, looking to fill your own walls with art that isn’t from big box, mass produced stores. Our practice walls are filled with the art from myself and my family, but upon my dad’s death, we are looking to continue to share his art. As well as the art that I create and from my mother. It's a family thing.

Lark and Raven support those who are grieving, and we have noticed a need for a grief support group specifically for su***de loss. We want to provide this support at a very manageable low cost rate for participants. We also need our group room to be updated with a more cozy and comfortable vibe to host these groups.

The auction will be open until May 1st (the full flower moon) and new pieces will be added in the coming weeks.

Lark & Raven Wellness Centre is looking for a Registered or Provisional Psychologist (independent contractor) specializing in trauma, grief, and chronic pain.

We support individuals, couples & families navigating:
Grief & bereavement,
Trauma & PTSD (including complex & su***de loss),
Chronic pain & medical trauma,
Life-limiting illness & caregiver support

Who we’re looking for:
✔ EMDR or ART trained (preferred if you have a passion for these modalities)
✔ Experience with complex trauma & Grief
✔ Works with ages 5+
✔ 2.5 days/week availability (incl. one evening or weekend)
✔ Comfortable maintaining 5–10 sessions/week

What we offer:
