We’re excited to share that Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is now available at Exhale for kids 12+ and teens, offered by Lisa, one of our most experienced clinicians.

ART is a trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences without needing to retell or relive them in detail. For many kids and teens, this feels safer, gentler, and more empowering than traditional talk therapy alone.

Lisa brings over 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families — including a decade in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. Her work is calm, attuned, and deeply respectful of each child’s pace.

ART can be helpful for:
• anxiety and fears
• trauma or medical experiences
• grief and loss
• phobias and sleep issues
• big emotions that feel “stuck”

If your child is carrying something heavy and words haven’t been enough, this may be another path forward 🤍

She works with teens, adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, identity, trauma, self-esteem struggles, conflict, or major life transitions — and she brings so much compassion, insight, and grounding to the room.

Nicole .yyc.psychologist helps people challenge old stories, soften into their emotions, and reconnect with their strengths. She also offers EMDR for trauma processing.

This weekend at our team holiday party, one of our therapists had an alarm go off on her phone. We asked what it was for… and she said,
“Oh — that’s to remind my husband to move the Elf.”

And honestly? That moment told the whole story.

Women aren’t just doing the holiday tasks… we’re the ones remembering, tracking, anticipating, reminding, and emotionally managing the entire season.
It’s the invisible load — and it’s heavy.
