At the end of this month it's Chewies 11th Birthday and the anniversary of 6 years as part of our family.
Together we've been on around 6,570 walks covering
about 17,500 km.
Hugh and I often split the walking, so that’s give or take around 8,750 km each.
None of this because we’re disciplined. But because this dog insists.
Three walks a day whether it’s snowing, blizzarding, or minus something unimaginable outside.
And something interesting happens most days.
I’ll start the walk with my head full of things… work, decisions, something I keep turning over in my mind.
Somewhere along the way it changes.
It’s a reminder that small daily habits do more for our thoughts, emotions and feelings than we often realise.
Chewie just makes sure we show up.
What keeps you active?
