Here's a simple, effective routine that works for most skin types — you can adjust based on whether your skin runs dry, oily, sensitive, or combo.

Morning
• Cleanse — Gentle, non-stripping cleanser (gel for oily, cream for dry)

• Treat — Vitamin C serum (brightens, protects against environmental damage)

• Moisturize — Lightweight moisturizer to lock in hydration

• Protect — Sunscreen SPF 30+ (non-negotiable, even on cloudy days in Calgary)

Evening
• Cleanse — Same cleanser, or double-cleanse if you wear makeup/sunscreen (oil/balm first, then cleanser)

• Treat — Choose one:
○ Retinol/retinoid 2–3 nights a week (anti-aging, texture — start slow)

○ Or a gentle chemical exfoliant (lactic acid, PHA) 1–2 nights a week

○ Or niacinamide serum (calming, pore-refining)
• Moisturize — Slightly richer cream at night, especially in dry climates

Weekly
