proper nutrition is critical for everyone. What we eat has a direct relation to how we feel and how we perform. The older I get the more I notice how food directly impacts my energy, mood, sleep and my recovery from exercise
My top priorities when it comes to nutrition are:
⚡️Protein - at least 100 grams a day for me
⚡️Whole Food - no preservatives, dyes or glucose/fructose/corn syrup for me
⚡️Fat - we eat a lot of grass fed beef, organic full-fat dairy and avocado/olive oil
⚡️Listening to my body - some days I crave more salt and other days more carbs. I try to eat intuitively
