What a weekend at the 2024 ! Finished my 3rd half at 1:46:05. Very happy with this after battling a calf strain 2 weeks ago and getting sick earlier last week. Oh the joys of the taper.

Couple things I learned this time around:

1. In order to put the work in you have to put yourself first.

There's always something else you could be doing but making your health a priority is key to being able to train consistently.

2. The importance of having a team around you

Super grateful for my wife for helping me plan when I was able to train and taking a few more morning shifts with our little one to get me out for the long runs. And thanks for waking up at 5am with Benji to get out in the cold and support me on race day!

Big thanks to my run coach who helped prep me, work through some hiccups, and kept the vibe supportive and positive the entire time. You're a gem Leanne!

Thanks to my physio Sarah who has a wealth of experience with endurance events and provided great treatment and even better motivational pep talks. Thanks for all your help Sarah!

Huge congratulations to all my runner patients who worked hard getting to the big day and crushing it out there! Love the vibes and seeing the effort get put in. Appreciate you all allowing me to join your running journey!

Another half marathon in the bag!

Had such a great day yesterday on team !

Not bad for 4 weeks of training (would not advise - injury + baby) 🤪

Schedule change at !

Just a heads up I'm back this week after taking two weeks off to figure out how to be a new Dad.

I've reduced my hours in order to be able to be home with little Benji and Diana a little more.

Schedule will now be Tues-Fri 1:15-6:45pm.
