Kettlebell Push-Up to High Pull!
This movement challenges your core, upper body, and posterior chain all in one smooth flow. Stay strong through the push-up, then explode through the hips to drive the bell up with purpose not momentum.
Quality reps > speed.

โœ… 3 Things to Keep in Mind
1. Strong plank position, Hands under shoulders, core braced, glutes on. Your body moves as one unit during the push-up.
2. Hips initiate the high pull, Drive through the heels and snap the hips forward, arms guide the kettlebell, they donโ€™t lift it.
3. Elbows high and wide, keep the kettlebell close to the body as it travels upward for a strong, controlled pull.

๐Ÿšซ 3 Things to Avoid
1. Sagging or piking hips in the push-up, This takes tension off the core and increases strain on the lower back.
2. Yanking the kettlebell with the arms. If youโ€™re curling it, youโ€™re missing the power from the hips.
3. Letting the bell drift away from the body, this reduces control and can stress the shoulders.

Tomorrow we get ready to do some heavy lifts. Focusing on proper form letโ€™s take a look at the Olympic Bar Romanian Deadlift.

4 THINGS TO FOCUS ON ๐Ÿ‘‡

1๏ธโƒฃ Neutral spine
Chest proud, ribs down, eyes slightly forward. Your back stays flat from start to finish.

2๏ธโƒฃ Hinge first
Push your hips back before bending your knees. Feel tension in the hamstrings.

3๏ธโƒฃ Bar close to the body
The bar should stay glued to your shins and thighs as you lift.

4๏ธโƒฃ Brace + drive through heels
Brace your core, push the floor away, and stand tall by squeezing your glutes at the top.

4 THINGS TO AVOID ๐Ÿšซ

โŒ Rounding the back
If you lose spinal position, the weight is too heavy.

โŒ Jerking the bar off the floor
Controlled pull โ€” no yanking or rushing the lift.

โŒ Bar drifting away from the legs
This increases strain on your lower back.

โŒ Overextending at the top
Stand tall, donโ€™t lean back or crank through your lower spine.

Strong lifts start with solid fundamentals.
