Non Negotiables for my Low-Tox Home 🏠

Let me start off by saying we did not make this switch overnight, it was months and months of swapping to natural products over time. I recommend doing one swap at a time - when you run out of your current product, rather than trying to swap all at once!

1) We have a whole home water filtration system from and it’s the most important change that we’ve made in our household!
2) I bought two boxes of glass food storage containers and donated / passed on everything that was plastic. Our glass set is from Costco
3) I make my own beeswax candles, and they are amazing! Naturally scented, and they help to purify the air!
4) Natural home cleaning products, Branch Basics is the BEST product on the market!
5) Unscented, Natural laundry products *comment if you want a link for something specific
6) Air purifier with a carbon / HEPA filter

What’s something else I should add to my low tox lineup?!

The ultimate recipe to support your moon cycle 🩸
Beet Soup with beef, barley and cabbage

There’s something deeply supportive about a warm bowl of beef and beet soup during your cycle—like nourishment that actually meets you where you’re at.

During menstruation, your body is naturally losing iron and working overtime to replenish what’s been shed. Enter: slow-simmered beef and vibrant beets.

Beef is one of the most bioavailable sources of heme iron, meaning your body can absorb and use it efficiently—supporting energy levels, reducing fatigue, and helping to rebuild healthy blood. It’s also rich in B12 and zinc, key players in hormone balance and immune support.

Beets bring their own kind of magic. They’re rich in folate and antioxidants, helping to support blood flow, liver detoxification, and the gentle clearing of excess hormones. That deep red color? A little hint at their role in supporting your blood and vitality.

And when you combine the two in a mineral-rich broth, you’re creating a meal that’s grounding, replenishing, and deeply restorative—exactly what your body craves in this phase.

Think of it less as comfort food, and more as intentional nourishment.

💁🏼‍♀️ it’s called balance baby

this was a fun one to make, and i had a little chuckle over many of them. but all jokes aside, in this season of life i feel so much lighter and happier not stressing about it! our home has been low tox for over five years, and at a time i was VERY rigid about it, and with many things (especially for my children) i still am. but in this season of life, it feels great to have some wiggle room and not subscribe to the “crunchy mom” label.

Lavendar & Rose Syrup 🪻

the most beautiful (& easy) addition to elevate your spring matcha lattes 🤍

Recipe:
-1.5 cup water
-1/4 cup lavendar, 1/2 cup rose (adjust to taste)
-1 cup organic cane sugar

Boil water, add dried herbs, turn off heat, cover and steep for 30 minutes. Strain plants, stir in sugar. Easy!

This simple syrup is delicious in the Glow Up Matcha as a sweetener, but is equally lovely in steamed milk for your little ones at bedtime or even in soda water!

The herbs can easily be interchanged for whatever you have on hand: tulsi, mint, or hibiscus! 🌺

20 Minute Salmon Bowl 🥢

*Comment RECIPE if you want the deets*

This vibrant combo is more than a pretty plate—it’s a functional, hormone-supportive powerhouse.

Wild salmon delivers omega-3 fatty acids that help reduce inflammation, support brain health, and play a key role in hormone production. Think: steady moods, glowing skin, and a nourished nervous system.

The raw carrot salad is a simple but potent addition—rich in fiber that supports estrogen detoxification by helping the body bind and eliminate excess hormones. It’s a small ritual with a big impact on hormonal balance and gut health.

Crisp cucumbers bring hydration and minerals to the mix, supporting digestion and helping your body stay cool, calm, and balanced from the inside out.

Balanced meals like this aren’t about restriction—they’re about intention.
Protein, healthy fats, fiber, and hydration working together in harmony.

Eat in a way that supports your body, not fights it 🤍

a few of my favorite things: vacay edition 🌴

basking in the nourishing rays of the sun, taking moments to prioritize my self care with a massage on the beach, saying yes to all of the things - even hot dog lunches by the pool, flowing with the rhythm of the day with poolside / wagon / beach naps, staying active with sunrise runs along the beach

post inspired by my gal 🥰
