Earlier today, I experienced one of the most frightening winter drives I’ve ever had.
At the intersection of Métis Trail and Country Hills, visibility dropped to zero. The traffic lights completely disappeared in the blowing snow and strong winds. The car beside me literally lived on the edge—thank God no vehicle crossed in front of him.
You could tell cars and trucks were still moving through, even though this is a major road with a 100 km/h speed limit.
When we thought the light turned green, all of us slowly pressed the pedal and moved forward—into the unknown.
What should have been a 40-minute drive turned into 2 hours, not because of traffic, but because the roads were icy and visibility was almost nonexistent.
It was a terrifying drive. I’m deeply grateful to have arrived home safely. Thank you, Lord, for safe travels. 🙏
Please stay safe out there. Would you dare drive in these conditions? Dec17,2025 12NN
