It's that time of year for us Canadian Freedom Hair wearers, moisturize, moisturize! With our dry winter weather, a little extra hair care can make all the difference. Try a a nice nourishing, deep conditioning hair mask. Below are a few of my favourites. It is important to add moisture back to the hair. Look for extra hydrating properties and stay away from products that contain sulfates, as this can dull the hair and dry over time. Do you have a fav product to share?

We’re excited to introduce Nicole Smith, one of our Guest Facilitators for the upcoming Support Group Event on Saturday, November 22nd at Toronto City Hall! 💬✨

Nicole is a registered psychotherapist specializing in trauma therapy. Having lived with alopecia areata for most of her life, she experienced alopecia totalis at age 23 while navigating panic attacks, generalized anxiety, and depression.

As a mother of two young daughters, Nicole strives to be a role model of strength, resilience, and self-love. Her personal journey deeply informs her empathetic approach to therapy, inspiring her to help others, especially those living with alopecia, discover healing, confidence, and self-compassion. 💛
