There’s something magical about the connection between a child and a horse.

Our Pony & Me Equine Program offers children with disabilities the opportunity to experience the physical, emotional, and psychological benefits of animal-assisted therapy in a safe and supportive environment.

Under the guidance of a certified Hippotherapist and with the support of trained volunteers, children will:
✨ Build strength and balance
✨ Improve coordination and mobility
✨ Boost confidence and communication
✨ Connect with gentle, caring horses

This program supports children with a variety of disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, visual and hearing loss, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, and more.

As a community hub dedicated to supporting families across Alberta, YEG Parents is committed to addressing the health and wellness needs of those who often hold our households together: Women.

Women’s health is a lifelong journey that requires specialized knowledge, yet critical topics like reproductive health, hormonal transitions, and preventative care are often underfunded or misunderstood.
