⬇️Common Floating Questions⬇️
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: We’ve got you covered! Just bring a hair brush and clothes to change into. Hairdryers available. Enjoy guided meditation and music. Everything else is provided: towels, earplugs, toiletries, post-float tea, and our friendly team!
Q: What do I wear?
A: Each room is completely private so you can go into the pods n**e but if you would rather wear a bathing suit then you are more than welcome to.
Q: Can I drown if I fall asleep in the pod?
A: There is zero chance of drowning as there is only 8-10 inches of water. Some people fall asleep, the water is so buoyant that you stay afloat no matter what.
Q: How do you clean the pods?
A: Water triple-filtered with an industrial pump, UV bulbs, and ozone generators ensure cleanliness. Floaters shower before entering, eliminating outside bacteria. The 1000 pounds of Epsom salt guarantees the cleanest water in the pods.
Q: Can I float with my contacts in?
A: Consider taking out your contacts before floating; it’s safer. We recommend bringing a contact case.
Q: Can I float while pregnant?
A: Yes! Floating in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters offers immediate and long-term benefits for you and your baby. Consult your doctor before floating, but it’s safe until a few weeks before delivery. Avoid floating before the second trimester.
Q: Can more than one person float in a pod at a time?
A: Only one person per pod. We have 4 float pods, so you can invite two friends to float at the same time and then meet in the reflection room to share your experiences over tea.
A: Can I listen to music while in the pod?
Q: You can choose to float in silence, or choose from a selection of audio, from weather, to guided meditation.
Q: Can I float if it’s that “time of the month”?
A: Absolutely, just follow the same steps as going for a swim
Q: Do I have to stay in the pod the whole time?
A: You are in control of your own experience at all times. There aren’t any latches on the pods and you can get out any time.
