Butterfly Baby Doula Services I'm Randi, a full spectrum doula, postpartum doula, child passenger safety technician & photographer Currently she lives in Calgary with her two children.

Randi is a Mom to two living children, after battling recurrent pregnancy loss she has found her calling in supporting others through their own journey to parenthood. She experienced two very different births and postpartum periods. With the birth of her son she was not prepared for some of the struggles that came along with feeding, but with support from her husband, family and friends she overcame them. Having a doula with her second child helped Randi find her voice and experience an empowering birth. Both births, though very different solidified Randi’s calling to birth work. Randi has always cared for families; be it as a childcare provider, respite worker, setting up meal trains, or as a peer support for bereavement and feeding struggles.Randi believes that birth and the postpartum period is a monumental occasion in a family’s life, and that with the right support the transformation to parenthood (be it the first or fifth time) can be exactly what that family needs and desires. Randi brings empathy, sensitivity, compassion, knowledge and her ability to find the positive in life. She loves to hear what people need and to take action to help in any way she can. Randi believes in a mother’s intuition and knowing what is best for her baby and her birth. She also believes that being heard, respected and supported through choices made for birth and postpartum can help couples have an empowering experience.
