One day, the hands we once held become the hands we care for. This Family Day, we celebrate our families, who walk with us through every season of life. 🤍Wishing you a warm Family Day.

The painting “Mother and Daughter” by Sheng Yuan-Fang was donated by Joanna and Philip Chang, is on display at Wing Kei Greenview. The painting represents the duality between caregiver and care-receiver, and how it reverses as we grow up and as our parents age.

At Wing Kei Crescent Heights on February 13, in celebration of the upcoming Lunar New Year, Wing Kei was honoured to welcome Consul-General Zhao Liying and Deputy Consul-General Wang Xiusheng of the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Calgary.

“An important tradition in Chinese culture during the Spring Festival is to extend greetings and well wishes to our elders,” Madam Zhao shared.

Wing Kei sincerely appreciates the Consulate General’s Lunar New Year visit and thoughtful greetings. The New Year gifts brought from our sister province in China, the Heilongjiang Province, also warmed the hearts of our residents, bringing connection and joy as we welcomed the festive season together.
