Residents visited the Field of Crosses along Memorial Drive in honor of Remembrance Day. ❤️🇨🇦
Our bus was full despite the chilly weather, and we enjoyed a meaningful walk filled with shared stories and quiet reflection. Some residents chose to stay cozy in the bus, taking in the solemn view from their seats.
A touching reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedom we enjoy today. 🍁

🎃 Halloween Around the World Travelogue & Happy Hour 🌍

Our residents enjoyed a fun travel adventure exploring how more than ten countries celebrate Halloween! ✈️🎭 After watching an engaging video and listening to a lovely piano performance, everyone shared their own Halloween memories — filling the afternoon with laughter and nostalgia. 💬💖

Guru Nanak Gurpurab, also known as Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav and Guru Nanak Jayanti, celebrates the birth of Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion and first of 10 Sikh Gurus. In the Sikh calendar, he was born on April 15th, 1469, in Nankana Sahib, located in Pakistan, but we observe his birthday in November this year according to the Gregorian calendar. He preached peace, non-violence, equality, brotherhood and sharing resources with the needy. He traveled widely in the sub-continent of India and to the countries west of India to discourse and gain knowledge from people of various faiths and followings.
