SAMPS 2025 Challenge Needs Your Help!
Hello SAMPS Members,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent “Mix & Mingle” luncheon and 2025 Challenge Kick-Off—especially during the wild week that is Stampede! Your energy, ideas, and enthusiasm were contagious.
Now the fun really begins…
The SAMPS Challenge 2025 is officially underway!
And thanks to early momentum from our incredible SAMPS community—members, friends, family, and supporters—we’ve already raised over $8,800 toward our goal of $40,000 in support of Multiple Myeloma research in Alberta!

It’s as easy as 1-2-3! Every fundraiser and team tells a story. Join us and help SAMPS raise money for Multiple Myeloma Research and education.
Choose Your Challenge and Join a Team or Create one!
Walk, run, cycle, knit, paint, garden, dance, declutter your garage, or even binge-watch a series (we see you, Netflix marathoners!).
Whatever brings you joy—that’s your challenge.
Register or Create Your Fundraising Page
Visit the SAMPS 2025 Challenge page here and choose one of two paths:
Create a Team – Be the captain, set up your team page, invite others.
Fundraise as an Individual – Sign up solo and lead by example.
Let your community know about your personal connection to Multiple Myeloma or your fundraising story, add a fundraising goal and even a photo if you want, and click to launch your page. We already have Team “UFO’s to GO” - a member who is completing some UFO stitching, “Team Pulling for Myeloma Patients" and “Team Multiple Miles for Myeloma” to name a few!
Invite Others to Join or Donate
Once your page is live, you’ll be provided with a shareable link! You can post to Facebook, or circulate an email to your cheerleaders! Ask friends, family, or colleagues to:

The Challenge Wraps October 12th 2025! Come celebrate with us!
Our campaign will officially wrap up on October 12th - the day after our Fall Mix & Mingle to be held on Saturday October 11th 2025: an afternoon of connection, storytelling, and gratitude to celebrate everything we’ve achieved together. A registration link will be sent out shortly, but in the meantime, please hold the date in your calendars!
