Women’s hormones naturally shift throughout the month and across different stages of life — including stress, postpartum changes, and perimenopause. Supporting your body with the right foods can help regulate energy, mood, sleep, skin, and menstrual cycles. 🌿

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, hormone balance isn’t about one single hormone — it’s about supporting the whole system: digestion, stress response, blood flow, and Kidney energy over time. Small daily choices like adding seeds, leafy greens, healthy proteins, and calming teas can make a meaningful difference.

Food is one of the simplest ways to support your body naturally. 💛

Facial cupping has been part of my personal routine for about 7 years now. At first I used it occasionally, but over time it became something I do almost every morning because the results are so noticeable.

It helps reduce puffiness, improves circulation, supports lymphatic drainage, and gives the skin a natural healthy glow — honestly, it can make you look like you had a great night’s sleep even when you didn’t.

The best part? It only takes a couple of minutes. I usually wash my face, apply moisturizer, and do a quick cupping routine while making beds or getting the kids ready for school. No downtime and it should not leave marks on the face when done properly.

I often recommend facial cupping as simple, effective home care for patients who want to support their skin naturally between treatments.

Consistent small habits really do make a difference. 💛

Yin Deficiency in Chinese Medicine

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin represents the body’s cooling, hydrating, and nourishing energy. When Yin becomes depleted, the body can start to feel overheated, dry, and restless.

More common in:
• Women in perimenopause & menopause
• People with high stress or burnout
• Poor sleep or night-shift schedules
• Long-term illness or recovery periods
• Overwork without enough rest
• Those who run “hot” naturally

Common symptoms:
• Night sweats
• Hot flashes
• Dry skin, eyes, or mouth
• Restless sleep or insomnia
• Anxiety or irritability
• Afternoon/evening fatigue
• Red tongue with little coating

Support Yin with nourishing foods like pears, tofu, spinach, seaweed, goji berries, black sesame, and hydration-rich meals. Small daily choices make a big difference. 💧

✨ Post-Microneedling Healing Upgrade ✨

Copper peptides help:
✔ reduce redness
✔ support collagen repair
✔ speed skin recovery
✔ strengthen the skin barrier
✔ improve overall glow and texture

After microneedling, the skin is in repair mode — this is the perfect time to deliver ingredients that support healing at a deeper level.

I’ve started incorporating this Copper Tripeptide Serum into treatments to help patients recover faster and see even better results. 💫

Great for:
• post-microneedling redness
• sensitive skin recovery
• fine lines + texture
• strengthening aging skin

Your skin does its best work when it’s supported properly after treatment.

Message me if you’re curious whether microneedling is right for you ✨

What do cupping marks mean? 👀

After a cupping treatment, you may notice temporary circular marks on the skin. These are not bruises — they reflect how circulation is moving through the tissues and where the body is releasing tension and stagnation.

✨ Lighter marks = better circulation
✨ Darker marks = deeper stagnation or long-standing tension
✨ Yellow/fading marks = healing in progress

Cupping helps:
• relieve muscle tightness
• improve blood flow
• reduce pain and inflammation
• support detoxification
• promote relaxation

Most marks fade within 3–7 days depending on the area and how long the tension has been there.

Every mark tells a story about what your body is working through 💫

Have you ever tried cupping therapy?

🫀 Why do we take your pulse in Chinese Medicine?

In Chinese Medicine, pulse-taking is much more than counting beats.
It’s a conversation with your body.

By gently feeling the pulse at three positions on each wrist, we gather information about:
• Qi & energy levels
• Blood circulation
• Stress & emotional state
• Digestion & metabolism
• Hormonal and nervous system balance

We assess the depth, strength, rhythm, speed, and quality of the pulse — each layer tells a different story about what your body needs in that moment.

This ancient diagnostic tool helps us:
✔️ identify imbalances before symptoms escalate
✔️ tailor treatments specifically to you
✔️ track changes as your body heals

Quiet, subtle, and deeply informative — pulse diagnosis is one of the most powerful tools in Chinese Medicine.

👅 Why do we look at your tongue in Chinese Medicine?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the tongue is like a window into your internal health — it gives us real-time information about what’s happening inside your body.

✨ We assess:
• Color – circulation, heat, or deficiency
• Coating – digestion, dampness, or inflammation
• Shape – Qi & blood strength, swelling, tension
• Moisture – hydration, fluids, yin balance

Unlike symptoms that come and go, the tongue shows patterns over time, helping us:
✔️ identify imbalances
✔️ personalize your treatment
✔️ track healing progress session by session

That’s why tongue diagnosis is one of the most important diagnostic tools in Chinese Medicine — gentle, non-invasive, and incredibly informative.

Next time you stick out your tongue in a treatment, now you know why 💗

Bleeding Cupping in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

Dod you know that cupping can be used to release stagnation not only from the muscles, but also from the blood itself?
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, bleeding cupping (also known as wet cupping) helps remove heat, toxins, and stagnation from deeper layers of the body — allowing fresh circulation and oxygen to flow freely again.

✨ Commonly used for:
• Chronic pain and inflammation
• Muscle tension and fatigue
• Headaches and migraines
• Detoxification and immune support

Each session is done with precision, sterile technique, and care to restore your body’s natural flow of Qi and Blood.
