Gardening season is just around the corner 🌿
After a long winter of potentially being less active, jumping straight into bending, lifting, digging, and kneeling can be a bit of a shock to your body—especially your low back.
A few simple ways to ease in this spring:
• Start with shorter sessions instead of long hours all at once
• Change positions often (don’t stay bent over too long)
• Take breaks before you feel sore, not after
• Warm up like you would for any other activity
This is also a great time to keep up with regular care like chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy to help your body transition into the season, especially if you’re noticing stiffness or tension building up.
Your body just needs a little time to adjust again—and a gradual start can make a big difference in how you feel afterwards!
