Dive into what the journey looks like when you've noticed a decline in your hearing.

We talk about what happens from the moment you start wondering about whether or not your hearing's changed to what the next steps look like. We go into detail for preparation and what the different types of appointment's are for. We even review what the different adjustment periods may look like for those who treat hearing loss early, compared to those who might've waited 10+ years before getting hearing aids.

This year’s theme is “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children,” highlighting the importance of preventing avoidable hearing loss in kids and ensuring early identification and support so they can hear, learn and succeed. 💛👂

Around 90 million children worldwide live with hearing loss, and more than 60 per cent of childhood hearing challenges could be prevented with simple, affordable measures and early care. Hearing health isn’t just about sound — it affects speech, learning, social development and long-term opportunity.
